Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay one slice of prosciutto flat. Add:
- 1–2 thin strips of cheese
- 3–4 asparagus stalks
- Roll tightly into bundles, slightly overlapping the prosciutto. Place seam-side down on the sheet.
- Lightly drizzle with olive oil and add black pepper.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the asparagus is tender and the prosciutto is lightly crispy.
- Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra crisp edges.
Notes
We tested this recipe with both thick and thin asparagus, and thin spears worked best because they cook evenly and wrap more tightly. For best results, cut the cheese into thin strips instead of chunks so it melts smoothly without leaking out during baking
