Method
- Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add sliced bell peppers and onions. Cook over medium heat until soft and slightly caramelized (about 8–10 minutes).
- Stir in garlic, salt, black pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute.
- Return sausage to the pan. Add white wine and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes until everything is tender and flavorful.
- Slice sausage or keep whole. Serve hot.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the pan: If the pan is too full, the sausage will steam instead of brown. Browning = flavor.
