Burger Salad Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ground beef 85/15
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard for meat
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 –4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles chopped
  • 1/2 avocado diced (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup no sugar added
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard while cooking. Drain excess fat if needed and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together greek yogurt, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. This creamy dressing is the perfect burger salad bowl sauce and ties everything together
  3. In two serving bowls, layer chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onions, pickles and avocado (if using). Top with warm ground beef and drizzle the special sauce dressing over everything.
