Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer in the baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine: Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder and black pepper
- Stir until everything is well combined.
- Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Bake the baked chicken for 18–20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Turn the oven to broil and cook for 1–2 minutes until the top becomes golden and slightly bubbly.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with green onions before serving.
Notes
We tested this recipe with both whole chicken breasts and thin cutlets and found that cutlets cook more evenly and stay juicier. For best results, slice chicken breasts lengthwise before baking so the ranch topping cooks evenly and doesn’t separate.
