Tips for the Best Crockpot Steak Bites

  • Steak cut matters: Sirloin or ribeye works best for juicy bites. Stew meat is budget-friendly but needs longer cooking.
  • One-pot meal: Add diced carrots into the crockpot to cook alongside the steak.

Variations

  • Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Gravy – Add onion soup mix and a cornstarch slurry.
  • Spicy Kick – Stir in red pepper flakes or cayenne.
  • Herb Butter Steak Bites – Swap parsley for rosemary and thyme.
  • Low-Carb Option – Serve over cauliflower mash or sautéed green beans.

Can I use stew meat for steak bites?

Yes! It’s budget-friendly but may need 6–7 hours to get fork-tender.

Do I need to sear first?

Not required, but searing adds a deep, savory flavor.
